Arrival by car
If you are coming from Innsbruck (75 km):
Drive from Innsbruck to Telfs. From there, take the road towards Nassereith and follow the Fernpass directly to the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena.
If you are coming from Meran (180 km) or Zurich:
Turn off at Imst and take the road towards Nassereith. Follow the Fernpass directly into the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena.
If you are coming from Munich (110 km):
Take the motorway as far as Munich. From there, continue to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Cross the border into Austria at Griesen. After 13 km you will reach the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena.
If you are coming from Stuttgart (250 km):
Take the motorway to Kempten. Cross the border into Austria at Pfronten. From there, continue towards Reutte, turn right towards Heiterwang – then you are already in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena.

Arrival by train
The Zugspitz Arena is easy to get to by train from Garmisch-Partenkirchen. On this historical route, the “Außerfernbahn” travels from Garmisch via Reutte to Pfronten. There are train stations in Ehrwald, Lermoos, Lähn-Wengle, Bichlbach and Heiterwang.

Those who do not wish to leave their own car behind can take the car train from Hamburg, Hildesheim, Dusseldorf and Berlin to Munich and then continue by car to the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena (approx. 120 km). Book this here.
Arrival by plane
The nearest airport is Innsbruck – just 75 km away. Austrian Airlines, Air Aviation Alps, Welcome Air and a number of other airlines offer cheap flights from many European cities directly to Tyrol’s metropolis.
