This superb nearby outdoor centre features a breathtaking high ropes course, a climbing wall and the “Flying Fox”, among other things. For those who don’t mind getting wet, there are rafting or canyoning tours on the Ötztaler Ache river.

Visit the world-famous fairytale castles of King Ludwig II of Bavaria. This is definitely one excursion not to be missed! Close to the border, within a radius of 40 km, are the royal Bavarian castles of Schloss Neuschwanstein, Schloss Hohenschwangau and Schloss Linderhof.

The nearby Glentleiten Open Air Museum is the largest of its kind in Southern Bavaria. It offers detailed insight into the everyday life of the people of Upper Bavaria, their construction and building culture and their working environment.
More than 60 original buildings have been preserved and moved, together with their equipment, to be restored in the midst of a cultural landscape that is based on historic models. |
